What a wild ride 2024 has been! Thank you to everyone who made our Town Committee’s successes possible — and our losses bearable. What a testament to the power of civic engagement. We wanted to share an opportunity to help foster a growing commitment to community service in our most promising Falmouth High School students: by making a year-end donation to the Thelma Goldstein Civic Engagement Scholarship fund.
The Thelma Goldstein Civic Engagement Scholarship honors the memory of one of Falmouth’s most influential and inspirational Democrats. The scholarship has been awarded since 2013 to a Falmouth High School graduate who has been accepted at a two- or four-year college or university with demonstrated civic engagement and commitment to public service, financial need, and academic achievement. Past awardees include Thomas Moakley, Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket District State Representative elect, and Daniel Gessen, Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates.
