January 16, 2019 – Gun Violence and What You Can Do About It – Nan Logan, Grandmothers Against Gun Violence and others from the Falmouth Gun Buy Back group, will speak on “Gun Violence and What You Can Do About It” on Wednesday, January 16th, 7:00PM at the Gus Canty Recreation Center, 790 Main Street, Falmouth. Ms. Logan and others will be discussing: ERPO, the Extreme Risk Protection Act passed by the Massachusetts Legislature this year; guns and dementia; and resources for people to use to combat gun violence. Ann Stone from the group has said, “the presentations will point out how individuals can use the law and information resources to help reduce gun violence.” Kirstin Moritz has noted that “progress seems to be on the horizon in the effort to stem gun violence across the nation. So now is the time to be heard. ”
